Spring (March–May): Emergence and Swarm Season

March: Overwintering stink bugs and cluster flies begin emerging from wall voids as interior temperatures warm. Check south-facing walls for activity.

Fall (September–November): Entry Season

September–October: Stink bug aggregation peaks on south and west-facing exterior walls. Fall perimeter treatment before aggregation begins dramatically reduces indoor entry.

October–November: Rodent activity inside homes peaks. If you haven't addressed entry points, this is when you discover the problem via droppings, sounds in walls, and tripped traps.

Winter (December–February): Indoor Activity

Late winter: Carpenter ant satellite colonies can become active during warm spells, emerging from wall voids as heated spaces warm.
